Allied Cultures
Allied Cultures are weekly events that unlock a special playfield, allowing players to build a city representing an allied culture. Each event features a questline that provides an immersive introduction to the culture, along with exclusive buildings to construct, resources to produce, and valuable rewards to earn.
Every Allied Culture event is centered around a distinct World Wonder. Upgrading this World Wonder enables players to earn special rewards and advance in Leagues, where they compete with thousands of players worldwide.

The Fading Cenote of Chaac

The Fading Cenote of Chaac is one of the weekly events in the theme of Mayan Empire. The World Wonder is the Chichen Itza - a majestic structure located next to the allied city. It contains 50 levels, each offering a unique reward including a special bonus for collecting Obsidian obsidian and Cocoa cocoa that helps you to progress in the Allied Culture faster.
The core buildings in the game include Homes, which come in two types: Worker Homes, Craftsman Homes and Luxurious Homes. These provide Workers mayas_worker, Craftsmen mayas_priest, or both, respectively, along with Cocoa cocoa. Production buildings are Jade Quarry, which produces Jade jade, and Obsidian Quarry, which produces Obsidian obsidian. Later in the event you also unlock Aviary, which produces Feathers feather. Secondary production buildings include Mask Sculptor, where Jade is turned into Ancestor Mask ancestor_mask, and Chronicler, in which Obsidian is processed into Calendar Stones calendar_stone. Later in the event, you also unlock Ceremony Outfitter, where Feathers are turned into Headdresses headdress and Ritual Carver, where both Jade and Obsidian are processed into Ritual Daggers ritual_dagger. Visit the World Wonder tab to review the requirements for upgrading the Chichen Itza.
The Mayan Empire features a cultural system - and this time, with a twist! As you continue to expand your allied cultural city, you'll discover various Ritual Sites hidden throughout the jungle. These include premium sites, such as the Magma Temple, and regular ones, like the Crystal Spring. These structures are fixed in place and cannot be moved.

Place your houses and production buildings next to the ritual sites and make their output increase permanently!

Visit the Quests tab to see all the quests that await you, the Buildings tab to find an overview of all buildings and their productions, and the World Wonder tab to find all the requirements, rewards and bonuses of the Chichen Itza!

Allied Cultures in general

Allied Cultures are weekly events where you build a temporary city, accessible via a banner in the bottom-right corner of your screen. These events start on Thursday at 2 PM (CET) and end the following Tuesday at 2 PM (CET). After the event is over, next time you start developing your city from scratch and have the possibility to collect all the prizes again!

Currently, the game features three Allied Cities: Egypt, Vikings, China and Mayas. Each city hosts three distinct events, each centered around a different World Wonder. Depending on the event and the featured World Wonder, a unique resource from the Allied City will be boosted, offering varied strategies for city development each time.

Every Allied Culture comes with its own portal and unique heroes. During the event, special antimatter can be earned to power this portal, granting a chance to obtain these unique heroes. When a new Allied Culture begins, the previous portal closes, and the new one becomes available. However, any unspent antimatter is not lost—you can use it when the respective portal reopens next time.

You can read the sequence of Allied Cultures from the dropdown menu at the top of this page.
