The Desert Trail Gambit

The Desert Trail Gambit is one of the weekly events in the theme of Arabia. The World Wonder is the Petra - a majestic structure located next to the allied city. It contains 50 levels, each offering a unique reward including a special bonus for collecting Dirham
that helps you to progress in the Allied Culture faster.
The core buildings in the game include Homes, which come in two types: Medium Homes and Luxurious Homes. These provide Workers
, along with Dirham
. Production buildings are Merchants, which produce Gold Fals
, and Camel Farms, which produce Camels
.
Arabia contains a unique feature - Bazaar. It's a stationary building in your city where you can exchange Camels and Gold Fals for secondary resources, such as Coffee Beans
, Myrrh
, Oil
and Cotton
. The offers in Bazaar refresh regularly.
Secondary resources are required in Workshops to produce the final resources you need to upgrade the World Wonder. These include Coffee Brewer to produce Coffee
, Incense Maker to produce
, Oil Lamp Maker to produce Oil Lamp
and Carpet Maker to produce Carpet
. Visit the World Wonder tab to review the requirements for upgrading the Petra.
Arabia features an irrigation system that allows you to place various irrigation buildings to increase the production of nearby buildings. You can also make use of powerful stationary irrigation buildings, such as the Oasis, which become available as you unlock more city expansions. These structures are fixed in place and cannot be moved.
Another vital water source is the river, which flows through the center of your Arabian city, providing free irrigation. To construct buildings on the opposite side of the river, you'll need to build a bridge. This is crucial not only for completing the questline but also for efficiently producing resources at higher levels of your World Wonder. The construction process consists of 3 phases, each requiring Dirham and some time.
Visit the Quests tab to see all the quests that await you, the Buildings tab to find an overview of all buildings and their productions, and the World Wonder tab to find all the requirements, rewards and bonuses of the Petra!

Allied Cultures in general
Allied Cultures are weekly events where you build a temporary city, accessible via a banner in the bottom-right corner of your screen. These events start on Thursday at 2 PM (CET) and end the following Tuesday at 2 PM (CET). After the event is over, next time you start developing your city from scratch and have the possibility to collect all the prizes again!
Currently, the game features four Allied Cities: Egypt, Vikings, China, Mayas and Arabia. Each city hosts three distinct events, each centered around a different World Wonder. Depending on the event and the featured World Wonder, a unique resource from the Allied City will be boosted, offering varied strategies for city development each time.
Every Allied Culture comes with its own portal and unique heroes. During the event, special antimatter can be earned to power this portal, granting a chance to obtain these unique heroes. When a new Allied Culture begins, the previous portal closes, and the new one becomes available. However, any unspent antimatter is not lost—you can use it when the respective portal reopens next time.
You can read the sequence of Allied Cultures from the dropdown menu at the top of this page.
