Leaderboard events are various types of small events that run for several days and challenge you with particular tasks to achieve milestones. By completing these tasks you receive trophies, that boost your position in the ranking of 100 randomly selected players.

Rally of Heroes

Rally of Heroes is a Leaderboard event that spans several days, challenging you to complete specific tasks to achieve milestones. Earning trophies boosts your position in the rankings, unlocking additional rewards that can be claimed once the event concludes.

Open any portal to earn trophies and rewards in the Rally of Heroes event. The number of trophies you receive depends on the specific portal:

Players will be organized into groups of 100 after the event begins. You will compete against others in your group to earn ranking rewards and achieve milestone rewards.
Strategy tip:

You are assigned to a group of 100 players when you open your first portal during this event. Most active players do so within the first few hours of the leaderboard event, which means opening your portal early is likely to place you in a highly competitive group.

During the previous Rally of Heroes, I tested a different strategy - waiting until the very last hour of the event to open my first portal. It worked! I secured 1st place in the rankings with only a few hundred trophies collected and earned a significant amount of food with minimal effort.

Since more people may follow the same strategy after reading this, feel free to experiment further. If you don't wait until the final hour but instead open your portal, say, two hours before the event ends, you will still land in a very easy group of players.
